Hi,

Don't know if it enters into bug or suggestion...

I have created a custom post type for my site. In it, I have custom fields. One of them was a repeatable field.

I created a CRED (or content-submission) form... I worked fine... But I only had a file field as the repeatable field... I decided instead to create a repeatable block, where I could use the same file field, but also another field that would tell which type of file it is (ex: PowerPoint, video, etc)...

I saw that I had to create a View and use it to display the fields... Ok with that... But now my form doesn't work as expected anymore... Of course, the field has changed, so I went to edit it, only to see that any field in a repeatable group isn't showing (therefore I can't add it to a form)...

So, we would need to be able to add the fields contained in a repeatable block (or the repeatable block itself) to the CRED forms...

Hi, editing Repeatable Field Groups (RFGs) in Forms requires a different workflow, as you cannot edit RFGs in the same Form as the post containing the RFGs. There are some other limitations in the current system, like you cannot edit nested RFGs with Forms. Our document here contains the most up-to-date information: https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/creating-and-displaying-repeatable-field-groups/front-end-forms-for-repeatable-field-groups/

We're working to improve the process of editing Repeatable Field Groups with Forms to make it more streamlined. For now, separate Forms are required. Let me know if you have questions about this process.
