I am trying to: Add new taxonomies to my CRED form
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
I expected to see: I added taxonomy "Store Dress Name" and deleted "product name" I also need to add taxonomy "status"
Instead, I got: These new added fields are not showing up on my front end form and the "product description" won't delete. essentially all the edits I make are not taking effect. Please help, this is very frusturating
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Well - I do not able to see the CRED form with the link you shared. Maybe I need to have access to look at your form.
Could you please also tell the exact steps to reproduce the issue.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
Minesh is away, so let me take over here if that's okay.
I visited your site. I was able to go to Toolset > Post Forms and edit the first form, "Create content - Products".
At the end of the form I inserted the status and store dress name taxonomies and saved the form, then revisited the page with the form and they were included.
I didn't delete the product name field because every post submitted by CRED must have a title, it is the one field you cannot remove, but you can call it something else (and you can ignore it after the post has been created if you wish).
I woudn't say this is solved, though.
Your browser console is littered with 404 errors, and trying to edit the form from within the Layout was not possible because of cross origin errors.
It looks to me as if you have migrated the site but the migration has been only partially successful.
Would that be right?
I would recommend you use a tool such as All in One WP Migration which take cares of everything and is very easy to use.
