CRED Date Input becomes ready only on front end.

I am trying to: Add a Date field to a user submission form - the date field is read-only on the front end but it should not be. This shortcode: [cred_field field='date-sold' post='warranties' value='' urlparam='' placeholder='Date Sold'] renders a read-only input field on the front end
