create new post from existing post

Tell us what you are trying to do?
looking for a way to allow users to 'suggest' changes to an existing post without changing the existing post. Not sure best way but one idea we had was to create a new post from an existing post that a moderator can then check and decide if to use any of the suggestions.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?
