[Resolved] content templates created with avada builder cannot be edited anymore

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Suddenly the content templated created with avada builder cannot be edited with fusion builder. Maybe this happened after avada last update? Is it possible?

I confirm. Avada Builder is not working in content templates with the latest version of Avada. I had to downgrade.

Can you identify anything specific in the templates which causes the problem?

I have another user reporting the same but cannot reproduce the issue.

I have Avada 5.9, Fusion Builder 1.9, Fusion Core 3.9, the Fusion patches applied, Types 3.2.7, Views 2.7.5 installed, and WP 5.1.1.

I can edit existing templates designed with Fusion, and can freely create new ones, no issues.

Can you create a new template with Fusion?

If not, describe what fails. Do you see any errors in the browser console? Or in the PHP logs?

Hi Nigel,

unfortunately I cannot tell you about console. As I wrote, I had to downgrade the theme in order to make the site work. I confirm I have wp 5.1.1, avada 5.9, fusion core 3.9, builder 1.9, types 3.2.7, views 2.7.5. I cannot create new content templates with fusion builder. The standard wp editor appears. content templates created with builder sho the builder code and, for example, additional code added with builder (like css) is not added. Is lost.

Can i get a copy of your site then and I can install locally, upgrade, and hopefully see the problem for myself.
