Tell us what you are trying to do?

Hi, I'm building an ecommerce site and want to charge vendors for each product listing they have. Is there a way to set up a piece of content as a product?

For example, if a vendor wants to add 30 products to the site, and they are charged $0.20 for each product listing, is there a way to set a limit for how much content can be added?

I read this guide...
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-cred-commerce-to-add-payments-to-forms/

...but don't want to charge separately for each product listing as each listing will be less than a dollar.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Hi Curtis

Unfortunately I don't think this is going to be possible with Toolset, not without significant customisation, and you may need to explore alternatives.

There is some scope for customisation of the process envisaged with Toolset, where clients are charged to publish posts, but not enough for a practicable implementation of your use case unless you come up with a custom solution.

If it cost the same to publish every post then it might be possible to change the quantity of the product being charged for, for example, to charge 30 x 0.30, but the basic limitation is that the process involves submitting one form to publish one post, which becomes public once it has been paid for. It's not possible to bulk-publish 30 posts, or to pay a one-off amount to earn credit to be able to then publish 30 posts.

That latter route is feasible—the old implementation of the Classifieds reference site involved something similar—but requires a bespoke solution that is beyond what we can offer in support, and for which you would need to hire a developer, e.g. toolset.com/contractors/

If you are comfortable with PHP I still have an old copy of the plugin that provided the packages functionality on the Classifieds site that I could share with you, but I can't provide support for it, it would be for reference only.
