[Resolved] Can’t locate the

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
How can I create a layout for my pages or posts?

Solution:
1. Head to Toolset > Layouts and add a new Layout.

2. Here you will be presented with a Screen that lets' you add Rows and into those, Cells.

Those Cells and Rows are all explained here:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/#layouts > Layouts cells
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/learn-how-rows-can-displayed-different-ways/

3. After you created a layout, you can either head to the Single Page or Post where you want to use it, and you will (in the Posts/page edit screen) see a Meta Box on the right hand, called "Template and Layout"
There you will choose your recently created Layout and assign it to the Page/Post

4. Also, you can assign a layout to many pages a time, or to archives, or whatever content type you have on your WordPress install.

For this, you head to your Layout Edit Screen and choose "How this Layout is used"

I am trying to: I can't locate the "create default layouts" BUTTON that should be located in Layouts - according to your instructions from the section on "projects" i.e. "Go to Toolset->Layouts. There, click on the button "create default layouts".
I visited this URL:

I expected to see:

Instead, I got:

Can you elaborate where we instruct the usage of such button?

Are you using a Layouts integration?
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/how-to-use-toolset-theme-integrations/

You might share the Link of the Documentation illustrating this specific button, so I can instruct you what is meant with it.

Usually, you head to Toolset > Layouts and add layouts
Then, you assign them either in the Posts/Pages Edit screen or "bulk style" in the Toolset > layouts edit screen.

Can you help me understand your issue better?

Thank you

Hi Beda.
Thank you for getting back to me. The section I'm referring to comes from the "Project" wizard response. I've copied it for you to see. I am working with the Toolset Starter theme.

Thanks
Chris

Designing layouts for Toolset Starter
You will use Layouts plugin to design how content appears in your site. Layouts plugin allows you to design the structure of your site. It lets you position every element on the page, including even the header and footer.

The first thing that you should do after you activate Toolset plugins is to create default layouts. Go to Toolset->Layouts. There, click on the button "create default layouts". This action will set up the layouts that we've created, as a starting point for Toolset Starter sites.

You will find a header and footer layout and child layouts for different parts of your site (read more about using parent and child layouts).

Edit the layouts that we've created to move things around and to add new elements to your site.

Unfortunately that feature isn't available to me as a Supporter, but the information you pass to me, seems to be wrong and I reported this.

Let's see, it seems to me you want to design Layouts (with the Layouts Plugin) using the Toolset Starter Theme.

That's easy.

I think by now, you have installed the Theme and also Toolset, correct?

Now, you can head to Toolset > Layouts and add a new Layout.

Here you will be presented with a Screen that lets' you add Rows and into those, Cells.

Those Cells and Rows are all explained here:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/#layouts > Layouts cells
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/learn-how-rows-can-displayed-different-ways/

After you created a layout, you can either head to the Single Page or Post where you want to use it, and you will (in the Posts/page edit screen) see a Meta Box on the left hand, called "Template and Layout"
There you will choose your recently created Layout and assign it to the Page/Post

Also, you can assign a layout to many pages a time, or to archives, or whatever content type you have on your WordPress install.

For this, you head to your Layout Edit Screen and choose "How this Layout is used"

I suggest to keep this Documentation at hand for your references:

Please let me know if you need further help with this.

Thank you
