Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am trying to enter a Google Maps API Key but I get the following error:
"Toolset Settings
There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

Learn more about debugging in WordPress."

Is there any documentation that you are following?
None - I think this is an error

Is there a similar example that we can see?
No - I searched tech support forums and I think this is an error

What is the link to your site?
hidden link

Please can you enable WP Debug https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG and tell us the error?

Please also test without any other Plugins but Toolset and a default WordPress Theme, to see if it is due to a conflict with other software, and let us know if disabling some software (if so, which?) solves the issue.

From there we will be able to tell the next steps to take.

Thanks Beda,

There was a plugin conflict with Google Site Kit Plugin. I guess I cannot use that plugin?

For the Maps API Key, do I include the "key=API_KEY" part of the API Key?

An additional question:

I have pasted the key with the "key= " part but I am still getting an error:
"REQUEST_DENIED - This API project is not authorized to use this API."

- The first API has restrictions set to the domain with the appropriate wild cards.
- The server side API has no restrictions.

Do you have any advice?
Thanks

Hi Andrew,

Usually when we have API request issues we normally would try with a Key that is unrestricted. If it works then its an issue with the URL being used in the restrictions.

However before you do this could you ensure the following API's are enabled
Geocoding API
Geolocation API
Maps JavaScript API
Places API

If that doesn't work you can also try the key without restrictions

Thanks,
Shane
