[Resolved] Using a basic licence for a site on a sub-domain
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
A basic licence is for using Toolset with one site, can that site be installed in more than one place?
Solution:
No. But you can temporarily un-register a site, register a different URL, e.g. staging, and then re-register the original site when required.

Hello!
I'm building a multipurpose site on hidden link.
The main purpose of the site is a crowfunding platform for artists and I've installed Crowdfunding theme and plugin from Themeum.
The secondary purpose is allowing artists to sell their products through classified ads. I would like to install on the temporary subdomain the Classified site from WP-Types, and copy the templates to the main domain.
As I have purchased the basic license - for a site, the question is - can I register the WP-types on the subdomain in order to be able to install the Classifieds site, then unregister it and register the main domain?
Although the basic licence is intended for use on a single site, the registration provides for up to 3 URLs, to allow for local environment, staging, and production, so you should find you are able to register your sub-domain.
If for some reason you can't, you can temporarily unregister the main site while you register the sub-domain to install the Classifieds reference site, yes.
Hi again, Nigel
Since our communication, the page My Sites looks like in the first screenshot (since yesterday). I can't unregister the basic domain, nor register a subdomain. If I use the same Key to register the plugin on the subdomain - it returns an error (see 2nd screenshot).
can you please help? Is there another way of registering the site with up to 3 URLs?
Andrei
Your first screenshot looks like it was taken during a time when we had problems with wp-types.com yesterday, is it still the case that you cannot add an alternate URL?
I'll have to double-check with my colleagues if that's the case (I will need a test user account with basic subscription to see what you see).
It was a screenshot made today, but now the page is displaying correctly.
However, I can't figure out how to register a key for the subdomain: hidden link
