I have created a parametric search (following the Real Estates example -- very helpful!) but cannot get the BETWEEN function to work on my site. The custom field (wpcf-annual-giving) is numeric, and the filter is set to "Select posts with custom fields: wpcf-annual-giving BETWEEN mingiving,URL_PARAM(maxgiving)". However, no matter what I input, all of my posts are returned, regardless of whether wpcf-annual-giving is within or outside the input range. When I click on the submit button, I see in the browser address bar : ".../?mingiving=1&maxgiving=100000&wpv_filter_submit=Search" but all posts are still returned in the resulting list.

Nevermind. I figured it out. I was pointing to the wrong page for search results! Duh!
