I have some pages where I use a particular Types or Views shortcode to display the same data in multiple locations throughout the page. I also have some conditionals where I use the same shortcodes. I'm wondering how this works behind the scenes. Does Toolset cache the results of shortcodes in case they are used again on a page, or does it hit the database every time regardless of whether the same shortcode was previously called?

Hi Craig,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Unfortunately toolset doesn't cache this by default. You will need to install a caching plugin to prevent multiple request from the database.

One such plugin can be the WP Super Cache plugin.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane
