I have a view that searches on various post types and lists the results using Relevanssi.
We added another view to the output editor, that looks at the URL string and only lists results for a particular post type (events) and we have the marked to sort by start date.

[wpv-view name="event-search-list" search="[url-param name='wpv_post_search']"]

Both views work great, however, we would like to override the default sorting for the "event-search-list" view and list these results by their date. Is there an approach we can take to accomplish this?

Thank you!

Hi Sammut,

Thank you for contacting us and I'll be happy to assist.

To see how the two views have been set, we’ll need temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site ( preferably, to a test or development site where the views and all settings have been replicated ).

This access will allow us to offer better help and check how views and the Relevanssi plugin is configured.

Your next answer will be private which means only you and our support team will have access to it.

If you’re going to share the access details for the live/production website, it is very important that a complete backup of your database and website has been made.

Please let us know if you have any further information or questions.

Regards,
Waqar
