Hi Juan,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Could you provide me with a screenshot of your parametric search settings in views ?

It could be that you haven't set the results to update when you change the filter options because when I click on the search button it actually works.

So this indicates to me that the AJAX functionality works.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Juan,

Thank you for the screenshot.

I see where you have a conditional statement within the filter editor. This won't work, the reason is that the filter section does not output any post information.

Based on how you have it, it wont work because there is no information in the "wpcf-tipo-de-referencia" being passed into the conditional statement.

The only ways this will work is if the custom field value is being passed into the shortcode using a URL parameter. This would require that the page refreshes and a physical url be displayed in the URL bar.

Would you like to try this method?

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane ,

I do not understand why do not work either issues :

1. automatically update the data to change the reference field . Still does not work .

2. How can pass data per variable URL? I have seen that is included in the url type - of - reference variable, but nothing happens.

Could you resolve this issue if I tell you the username and password ?

Thanks!

Hi Juan,

Yes providing me with the credentials would allow me to test the issue and see exactly what is wrong.

I've enabled the private fields for your next response.

Regarding the URL section you can actually do this.

[wpv-conditional if="( '[wpv-search-term param="myurlparam"]' eq '1' )"]This is a post[/wpv-conditional]

This will get the value of the myurlparam url variable and evaluate it to see if it is equal to 1.

Please let me know if this helps.

I made a few changes to the conditional statement and it should work now.

Please check on it and let me know.

Hi Juan,

Unfortunately this won't work with the AJAX the only way for you to do this is non-ajax method. Another way would require some level of customisation which is out of the scope of our support forum 🙁

If you truly want a another method or an AJAX method then I would recommend contacting on of our certified toolset consultants from the link below.

Hello, a fellow support a month ago I answered and told me to read this page: hidden link

With this tutorial on another demo that decrepit in discover-wp.com I managed to make it work AJAX when changing some input field.

Why does not it work now? It is how to do it is not complicated to hire the assistance of a partner , I think that something is wrong the plugin.

Actually that functionality comes standard on wp - types / Views do not understand why it does not work .

Hi Juan,

I believe I fully understand your issue now.

Is it that when you filter you only want only the available options for the other filters to show up ? and not all the options.

This is as far as our views plugin takes hiding of filters. Its not able to hide the entire filter itself but only specific values.

Please let me know if this is the exact issue.

Thanks,
Shane
