I think Access conflicts with FacetWP. Both work fine when the other is disabled. However, with Access activated, FacetWP stops filtering.
For example, using FacetWP's own demo just to explain: hidden link
Here, what we expect to happen is that:
(A) we select a filter on the right, eg. 'Acura (4)', thus the filters adjust ad the URL changes.
(B) the content on the left changes (filters) so that we only see four cars by Acura.
What happens with Access activated (in my case) is that (A) happens, but (B) does not. I suspect this could be related to javascript/jquery but I'm not sure.
I need to perform some tests on your website in order to check what exactly is causing the issue.
For this I will need a duplicate of your website.
You can use the plugin below to provide me with a duplicate of your website. What you can do is to upload the duplicator files to Dropbox or Google Drive and share the link with me.
Thanks, I think I will be able to do this for you next week, however, naturally I won't want to share the site publicly on this forum. Do you have an email address I can use instead?
Thank you Shane, I think somewhere along the line a software update must have resolved this, as it seems to be okay for me too. I'm sorry to have taken so much of your time. Many thanks!
I'm afraid I was too hasty to close the thread:
the problem is apparent in Safari at hidden link. If you attempt to filter by say, Burundi (3), the list of posts on the left do not change.
