Views is a WordPress plugin that lets you easily customize the standard WordPress listing pages using WordPress archives. You can redesign any WordPress archive, including custom post archives, taxonomy archives, author archives and search results.
When you ask for help or report issues, make sure to tell us what you have created so far and what you want to achieve.

Problem: I would like to display results in groups of 4 posts, where the first result is displayed in a specific format and the other 3 posts have a different format.
Solution: Use Views index, item, and wrap to create your different designs in a single View.
[wpv-layout-start]
[wpv-items-found]
<wpv-loop wrap="4">
[wpv-item index=1]
your design for format a goes here
[wpv-item index=other]
your design for format b goes here
</wpv-loop>
[/wpv-items-found]
[wpv-no-items-found][wpml-string context="wpv-views"]<strong>No featured ads to display</strong>[/wpml-string][/wpv-no-items-found]
[wpv-layout-end]
Problem: The bottom margins I have applied to the "row" CSS class do not appear to effect all the items in mobile. It only shows a margin on some items.
Solution: Apply the bottom margin to the individual items rather than the row, since the columns in a row are broken into separate rows on mobile.
Problem:
Video do not play with AJAX view pagination
Solution:
Views offers ajax callback events. When you visit view's Filter section's JS box - you will see a button "Frontend Events" which will allow you to add AJAX calllback events for AJAX view.
Problem: I would like to filter a View based on a custom field. The custom field is used to store a 4-digit year. I have created a custom shortcode that will return the 4-digit current year, and I would like my View to show posts with the custom field value that matches the current year.
Solution: Pass the current year into your View as a shortcode attribute, and register the current year shortcode in Toolset > Settings > Front-end Content > Third-party shortcode arguments.
Problem: The Pinterest share link I have generated does not work correctly, and the Facebook link does not show all the desired information on the timeline.
Solution: Follow the Pinterest documentation to format a pin link, and use Yoast SEO or another SEO plugin to specify which details to include on FB links.
Problem:
How to remove & replace word "Archives" from the taxonomy term archive page?
Solution:
To remove Archive Title from All archives, please add this code in your theme’s or child theme’s functions.php file:
add_filter( 'get_the_archive_title', function ($title) {
return '';
});
OR if you want to remove Archive Title from some Specific archives only, then please add this code instead of above one:
add_filter( 'get_the_archive_title', function ($title) {
if ( is_tax( 'book-authors' ) ) { // Change 'book-authors' to your Taxonomy slug
$title = '';
}
return $title;
});
If you would like to show only Term Title or Term Name, please use shortcode as given in our doc at below link. Correct shortcode for this case would be like this:
