Problem:
How can I check with conditional HTML on a User Meta Field and a post meta field simoultanously?
Solution:
See the below example:
1. I have a Types Custom Post Field "single-line" and it is either empty or has some value.
2. I have a Types Custom User Field "single-user-line" and as well here, that Field either has or has no value saved.
3. I check if both Fields are empty in my HTML Conditional and if yes, I display "I am empty"
4. I, in the second code, check if those Fields are NOT EMPTY and if yes, I display "I am NOT empty"
Of course, in this case, I must first save a value for the Post Field and a value for the User Field.
[wpv-conditional if="( $(wpcf-single-line) eq '' ) AND ( '[types usermeta='single-user-line' user_current='true' output='raw'][/types]' eq '' )"]
I am empty
[/wpv-conditional]
[wpv-conditional if="( $(wpcf-single-line) ne '' ) AND ( '[types usermeta='single-user-line' user_current='true' output='raw'][/types]' ne '' )"]
I am NOT empty
[/wpv-conditional]
Problem:
In a WP multisite installation, [wpv-forgot-password-form] redirect not working, it goes to the default wordpress login page instead of defined redirected page.
Solution:
We found that when creating a "Forgot your password" form with Views in a sub-site of a multisite installation and adding success/failure redirection link to the same site, the redirections are not working as the user is redirected to the main site instead. Please note this is default behaviour of WordPress Multisite and as such we are not going to enforce this function, but we do have a workaround for it.
For the redirections to work on a multisite installation, please follow below steps:
1. Enable Views on the main Network site of the multisite installation.
2. Navigate to Toolset settings >> Front-end Content of the main site and add *.domain.com on the Safe Redirects list. (domain name should be replaced with your website name like *.google.com).
3. After those changes, the redirections should work again for all the subsites.
Problem: I would like to display information from grandparent, parent, and child posts.
Solution:
Use the $slug syntax to retrieve information from parent fields, and use Content Templates to change the context and display grandparent information.
