CRED plugin allows you to build forms for front-end user registration and editing. These forms can include user fields and display them with your HTML styling. They also support input validation and automatic email notifications. When you ask for help or report issues, make sure to tell us the structure and the settings of your form.

repeat password validation
Started by: q1
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: The issue here is that the customer wanted to validate the user's password before they submit the form. Solution: In order to achieve this we would need to use some jQuery to check the user fields and see if both password fields contain the same password. You can use the jQuery below in order to do this. $("#cred_form_8_1").validate({ rules: { user_pass: { required: true, } , user_pass2: { equalTo: ".user_pass", } }, errorClass: "#wpt-form-message" }); However I would recommend adding a custom class to the fields that you want to apply this jquery to. |

cred_link_user_form gives No user specified
Started by: wardB
in: Toolset Professional Support
Problem: [cred_link_user_form form='111' form_name='Edit - business member' text='Edit %TITLE%' target='_self'] But I always get "User not found" instead. Solution: You can use the shortcode as follows: [cred_link_user_form form='111' form_name="Edit user" text="edit user" target="_self" post='[wpv-current-user info='id']'] Note that the "post" parameter in the shortcode contains the value of the ID of the currently logged in user '[wpv-current-user info='id']' Relevant Documentation: |
