Problem:
Want to display Select dropdown filter options as tags or buttons.
Solution:
1. While inserting your Search Filter into the View >> Filter Editor section >> insert the filter as "Set of Checkboxes" -- see screenshot: http://bit.ly/2wZOxF2
Problem:
I would like to add "Text Search" box to another view with different custom fields but it is not showing me option to select "Title, body custom fields".
Problem:
Create a search view with toolset and replace the output with content views pro. CVP basically "replaces" whatever built in loop code with a custom layout e.g. using a masonry tiled view.
Solution:
No you can't do that, Views results or output strictly works with its own functions. So it wont be possible to make it work with other plugin like this. You can add html/css into Views "Loop Output Editor" or "Templates for this View section" to change the display or design of the data returned by the Views. And even use few already integrated plugins which are integrated specially with Views (like Visual Composer, Beaver Builder), but other plugins cant change its output.
In a View >> Filter and Loop Output Integration Editor section, it holds 2 shortcodes:
[wpv-filter-meta-html] -- this is for displaying filters on the page.
[wpv-layout-meta-html] -- this is to output & display data on the page.
So this would require special integration with CVP to make it work as you need.
