Access plugin allows you to limit front-end read access to specific pages, posts or custom types and define who will be able to access that content. It also provides the functionality to set access control for specific blocks inside page content, in order to place texts that are visible to or hidden from certain user types.
When you ask for help or report issues, make sure to tell us on which content and user types you are trying to apply access control.
Problem:
The Client uses CRED forms for users to be able to post content, and wanted to be able to limit what these users see and can do when editing their content in the WordPress admin area.
Solution:
Do not give the users access to the WordPress admin area, and instead use CRED edit post forms to edit the content from the front end.
The problem here is that the Access Settings link on the CRED form Edit page does not go to the permissions settings page for the form.
Solution:
This is actually a bug and has already been reported to our development team.
Until a fix has been provided you can access your cred form permissions by going to Toolset -> Access Control -> Custom Field -> CRED Frontend Access Group.
Solution:
With Toolset Access 2.0 version we just changed how we present the data, but we do not change the mechanism how data is stored and applied. You can read more about on the following link: https://toolset.com/version/access-2-0/
