Topic Tag: Controlling access to admin function
Access plugin allows you to control administration capabilities in a WordPress site. You can create your own custom roles, set their permissions and choose exactly what sections different user roles can reach in the WordPress admin.
When you ask for help or report issues, make sure to tell us on which content and user types you are trying to apply access control.

Problem:
The issue here is that on the customer's low level users page they have the option to see the toolset shortcodes and can use them. The customer does not want this on his low level users profiles.
Solution:
The solution here is to hide this with a bit of custom code so the users of specific roles do not see this.
Add the following to your functions.php file and it should hide the option.
add_action('admin_head', 'remove_toolset_links');
function remove_toolset_links() {
if ( current_user_can( 'user_role' ) ) {
echo '<style>
.toolset-shortcodes-shortcode-menu{
display:none;
}
</style>';
}
}
Replace the user_role with the slug of your user role that you want to block from seeing the option.
Problem:
Just upgraded WooCommerce to the latest version and when Toolset Access is activated WooCommerce Product variations and attributes fail to work in products, when I disable Access WooCommerce functions work again. Looks like it may be a bug.
