Problem: I am using a Divi module to display a custom View on a Taxonomy Archive page. I have created a PHP template file for this archive page, and the View works as expected on the primary language. When I switch languages, the View disappears.
Solution: Make sure the Divi Module is translated into all languages.
Problem: I have a custom post type called "Activities" and I'm using Divi. When I check the Activity post on the front-end of the site, it appears to be cut off. Only half of the post appears.
Solution: Add some custom CSS that overrides the activity post height from Divi:
Insert the Custom fields that I created with Types, in a Layout assigned to a Single Custom Post, but the Custom Fields listed in their own groups.
Solution:
Please download all Beta versions from your Toolset Download area, and then make sure to not use it on live sites or with any other Plugin, since there may be issues with other Plugins that are not yet in Beta status or, if a 3rd party, not yet prepared for the Many To Many Relationships.
If no adjacent post exists, the URL for returned by the custom shortcode will be equal to the URL of the current page. Here's how you can use conditional HTML to test the current page's URL against the previous page URL:
[wpv-conditional if="( '[ts_get_adjacent_post_url previous='1']' ne '[wpv-post-url id='$current_page']' )"]Only show if there is a previous post in list[/wpv-conditional]
[wpv-conditional if="( '[ts_get_adjacent_post_url previous='1']' eq '[wpv-post-url id='$current_page']' )"]Only show if there is not a previous post in list[/wpv-conditional]
Problem:
The issue here is that the user's theme is generating a sidebar on his custom posts.
Solution:
I suspect that this has to do with the theme's template file.
Normally your theme has a sidebar() function that renders the sidebar. What you can do is to create a custom php template for your custom post type and remove the sidebar(); function from that file.
Naturally you will just create a copy of the single.php file and create your custom template with the name single-{cpt_slug}.php
Solution:
In 99% this error is related to insufficient memory on your install and you can easily increase it by editing wp-config.php file and by adding following line of code:
The issue here is that the user has his CPT but his theme is rendering the sidebar on his CPT.
Solution:
Normally some theme would include a way to disable this on custom post types.
If your theme does not support this then I would recommend copying your single.php file and rename it to single-{cpt_slug}.php in order to allow that file to be used for your cpt and then remove the sidebar(); function from the code.
Problem: I would like to include a list of terms associated with the current post, but I would like the links for each term to point to a custom URL. The links provided by the wpv-post-taxonomy shortcode point to the term archive pages, but I want to point to a custom URL generated with the term slug.
Solution: The best way to do this is to create a second View. It should be a taxonomy View of the cm-shop-category taxonomy, filtered by term, where the term is set by the current post. Then in the Loop Output editor, build your HTML link tag like this:
