I am trying to style my content template. I do not wish to add/keep my styles in the CSS editor in my content template but add them directly to my style.css in my child theme. However when I remove them from my content template and place in my styles.css, the styles I did have completely disappear. Is there an extra step I need to do in order to just have all my styles in my child theme styles.css file?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Toolset Support.

Normally, it should work on Content template when you added css code in your theme’s styles.css file.

I am not able to reproduce this issue at my end. Could you please also try to check it by deactivating all third-party plugins and switching back to the Default Theme (e.g. Twenty Sixteen theme) to see for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

Looking forward to help you.
Thank you
