Hi,
So this is not resolved....
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cant-access-intermediary-post-field-groups-in-many2many-http-error-500/#post-1104843
I have a multi site. It's a fresh install, a fresh rebuild, from scratch, of my site (in the main site), exported types etc...from it,
created a new sub-site, imported, and same problem persists - can’t access intermediary post field groups in many2many – HTTP500
Thanks,
Scott.
just to let you know - I deactivated all plugins except types and went to 2017 theme before export...and still the same.
Thanks,
Scott.
I tried importing this exported types file to a different install on a different server and I get fatal error when trying to access intermediary fields through "relationships" - see attached image.
clearly the exported file becomes corrupted.
Hello,
Same as your another thread:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cant-access-intermediary-post-field-groups-in-many2many-http-error-500/
This problem only exists in your website, please provide the credentials for both websites:
- original website
- new website
I need to test and debug it in a live website, thanks
Thanks for the details, I can login your website, will update here if there is anything found
I can duplicate the same problem, and have escalated it to our 2nd tier supporters, will update here if there is anything news.
Thank you.
In the meantime I guess on my new subsite I will create the CPT's and relationships manually and only import the field groups, views, layouts and forms.
Or should I wait?....kind of puts my project on hold.
Thank you,
Scott.
This is marked as bug in our to-do list, our developers are working on it, so I suggest you wait for the fix.
Currently, in your new sub-site, you can try these:
1) Import the Types setting files, including the relationships and field group
2) Dashboard-> Toolset-> Custom fields, deactivate/remove the problem field group "tracks-clients"
3) Dashboard-> Toolset-> Relationships> tracks-clients, setup the custom field again
uh....
your reply gives me the feeling you don't quite get what's going on here, sorry 🙂
I don't get your suggestions:
2) Dashboard-> Toolset-> Custom fields, deactivate/remove the problem field group "tracks-clients"
3) Dashboard-> Toolset-> Relationships> tracks-clients, setup the custom field again
1. one can't access intermediary field groups from "Toolset-> Custom fields"
or did you mean I should delete them through the "Post Field Control" button?
and...
2. I can't even access the fields or groups from "Toolset-> Relationships> tracks-clients > edit custom fields"
clicking "edit custom fields" is what leads me to the HTTP 500 error.
Thanks,
Scott.
Yes, you just need to deactivate/delete the problem field group..
See it in your own website:
1) find the group "Tracks Clients Field Group", and deactivate it
enlace oculto
2) Then you will be able to setup the new field group again:
enlace oculto
click button "Add fields"
And here is the feedback from our developers:
The problem is fixed in Types plugin next version 3.1, I am not sure when will it be released, but you can subscribe to our blog to get the updated news:

Hi Luo,
Thank you...my mistake...
but I don't get it - how come in my original build in the main site, from which I exported into the subsite, "Tracks Clients Field Group" doesn't show up under toolset>custom fields, even though it exists?
is there some special method for getting it to show up there?
Thank you.
Types plugin version 3.1 is released, you can download it here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
Please test and feedback if the problem is fixed.
thank you.
not sure if this has anything to do with the update but the related posts won't load in the post editor.
