The Maps plugin in Views 1.5 is great... but the ability to have the lat/long coordinates automatically generated from street addresses is *essential*.

I know that this functionality is available through the google maps API, so I'm guessing Views just need a hook of some sort.

In the meantime for my clients, I've added some instructions to the coordinates field group description:

=======
To determine the coordinates, go to:
hidden link
... and enter the street address.
You can then copy/paste latitude and longitude below.
=======

This works, but the elimination of these extra steps would be fantastic.

Thanx for your consideration.
