I'm seeing heavily increased load since installing Views 1.5.1 (See screenshot.)

It appears people are hammering my site with requests to /wpv-ajax-pagination/,
which provides pagination for sliders.

It appears the pagination itself is completely uncached, making it very slow, here is an example of a slide:

<em><u>hidden link</u></em>

I have "Cache pages" enabled, but it does not appear to work anymore, causing high load everytime wpv-ajax-pagination is called.

Hope you can help me with this.

Dear Stanislav,

Can you give me a url to see it?

Regards,
Caridad

Sure CaridadZ,

It's the WordPress Video Summaries widget in the right column:
hidden link

Dear Stanislav,

What the cache does is to not request a same slide twice. So when you load the page for the first time, each slide is requested and cached. When the slider reaches the end and starts again, no more requests are made because they are cached.

Are you seeing something different?

Regards,
Caridad
