I have created a View which displays a filtered taxonomy of Executive Team in my Custom Post Type of Staff Members – hidden link

When clicking on one of the Executive Team, I would like to show the individual Executive Team member and use the following URL – hidden link

The name at the end of the URL should be generated from the Custom Post Title.

Is this possible and if so, what is the correct procedure to achieve this?

Hi Craig,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

It seems clicking on the post already takes you to their profiles.

Is it that you want the url to stay as how you have it in the example?

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

Thanks for taking a look.

Yes, I would ideally like the URL to be as my example (hidden link), and not as hidden link

Kind regards,
Craig

Hi Craig,

Ok You should be able to do this by changing the rewrite rule for the CPT.

Go to the CPT settings and search for the rewrite settings.

From here you can add your custom logic which means you can add 'about-sbha/whos-who/executive-team'

Thanks,
Shane
