CRED notification to parent post author

The customer resolved the problem by setting a hidden cred field retrieving parent post author id and setting it as a recipient for the notification.

This support ticket is created hace 9 años, 2 meses. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

Hi guys,

how can I add an email notification to parent post author?

I'm trying to manage a movie review site and I let users create movie reviews trough CRED form.
I'd like to notify movie post owner upon new review creation.

I've added this

[wpv-post-author format="meta" meta="user_email" id="[wpv-post-field name='_wpcf_belongs_fulldome-shows_id']"]

to custom recipient field but no email was delivered.
Any suggestion?
