Views styled with Beaver Builder will not display Styles added to the Loop using the Builder, if the View is displayed in a Beaver Builder Widget

Won't fix

Reported for: Toolset Views 2.9.2

Symptoms

Toolset Views allow you to design the View Loop Template using Beaver Builder. And Beaver Builder allows displaying a View using a “WordPress Widget” Element.

However, if you add style to the Beaver Builder Elements in that template, using the Beaver Builder interface, that style will not be applied to the View, when the View is displaying in a Beaver Builder Widget Element.

Workaround

There is no other workaround but to not display a View using Beaver Builder’s Widgets.

However, using Widgets is really not required. In most cases you can simply use a shortcode or other method to display a View inside Beaver Builder content.

What causes this issue is that Beaver Builder rebuilds the content and presumes there is no other content renderer. But that is not the case when a View lists many posts because then Toolset becomes the content render for that View, and Beaver Builder renders the View itself.

This issue can only be resolved with deeper integration between both plugins, which is currently not on the Toolset Development roadmap.

We suggest submitting a request for deeper integration to both plugins. For Toolset you can use our contact form for requesting features.
