Toolset Maps is providing “Current User Location” as search criteria on HTTP websites

Symptoms

The Toolset Maps feature to search by a distance from the current user’s location works only if the website uses SSL/HTTPS.

However, the GUI allows you to insert such a search (Query Filter) even if you do not use SSL/HTTPS. This affects only the Backend Query Settings, not front end Custom Search.

Workaround

Until this is resolved, simply do not use Query Filters with Current user locations if you are not using HTTPS/SSL.
Later, you will not be able to set the Query to use it anymore, and the issue won’t surface in future.
