Toolset and SiteOrigin Page Builder

Won't fix

Reported for: Toolset Views 2.5.2

Symptoms

When assigning a Content Template to posts designed with the SiteOrigin page builder, the Content Template is not applied. Instead, SiteOrigin page builder designs are directly applied to the post. Also, when the Content Template displays the post body, and the post body is designed with the SiteOrigin page builder, no output is generated at all for that post on the front-end.

Similarly, when Toolset Layouts is used instead of Content Templates, you’ll see the output twice, instead of once and some other unexpected issues can happen.

Workaround

SiteOrigin page builder is not integrated with Toolset (or vice-versa). The only thing that can be used with Toolset and SiteOrigin page builder is the Views Widgets which can be inserted in any SiteOrgin page builder template or post content.

However, you should use only one templating system (Toolset’s or SiteOrigin’s), and not assign a Content Template to output content designed by SiteOrigin page builder or the other way around. This will help you avoid unexpected outputs.
