REST API does not return user custom fields in user queries

Symptoms

In Toolset > Settings > Custom Content there is an option to expose Types custom fields through the REST API.

This is working for post and taxonomy meta, but not user meta, where in the JSON response the returned toolset-meta entry is an empty array.

Workaround

Fixed with Types 3.4.10
