JavaScript error when using the wpv-geolocation shortcode in a Content Template

Symptoms

Toolset Maps provides the wpv-geolocation shortcode, which triggers a dialog to accept sharing the current location of the current visitor.

However, if you use this shortcode in a Content Template using Views 2.9 or later, there is a JavaScript error logged in the console and the dialog never appears.

The JavaScript error in question is the following:

• Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function

Workaround

You can download this file, unzip it and upload it to the ../wp-content/toolset-maps/includes/ folder, replacing the file with the same name in that folder.

This issue will be fixed in the next version of Toolset Maps.
