Inserting a wpv-woo-product-image shortcode into a Content Template assigned to WooCommerce Products, passing either predefined or custom sizes, will still display WooCommerce’s native Product image size.
In the main Loop Editor, the size attribute will work and your custom size will be respected.
Hence, as a workaround, you could display custom image product sizes withing the main Loop Editor and in the Loop Content Template or in a Single Product Content Template.
There is currently no solution for this. Instead, it requires changes in the code which our developer will work on. However, this might take a while.
