Custom JavaScript code added to a Content Template designed using a third-party builder doesn’t work

Won't fix

Reported for: Toolset Views 2.9.1

Symptoms

You can add custom JavaScript code when editing your Content Templates, in the JS editor section.

This works fine when you edit the Content Template using the classic Content Template editor or the Block Editor (Gutenberg).

However, if you design the Content Template using a third-party page builder like Avada, Fusion builder, or WP Bakery, the JavaScript code doesn’t work on the front-end.

Workaround

This is issue is not a bug and this behavior is expected.

When the styling of the content is passed to a page builder, the CSS and JS added with the Toolset editors will not have an effect anymore.
