After changing the type of an existing custom field the validation for the previous type is still applied

Symptoms

There is an issue with the validation of custom fields when you change their type.

For example, you might change a custom Number field into a Single Line field. In this case, the field will keep validating as a Number field.

Workaround

Until our development team fixes this issue, please resave the field after changing its type.
