I am trying to: create a slider that moves from left to right, but when clicking on previous it moves from right to left

Instead, I got: the slider only goes from left to right when i click on prev instead of right to left.

I figured out how to make it slider from right to left but it does not auto slide. Can this slider start automatically and loop so when it's at the end of the slide it goes back to the beginning?

Hi James,

Thank you for getting in touch.

In order to have the slider wrap around you must enable the automatic pagination for you view. See Screenshot.

I went ahead and logged in and changed this setting for you. You slider should now wrap around when it reaches the end.

Thank you but can you make it slide from left to right and then when clicking on the previous button slide from right to left?

Hi James,

The slider should already do this if you click the previous button.

When you click the next it should slider from right to left and vice versa with the previous button.

versteckter Link the slider is using fade, not slide. i would like it to slide. When you changed the to "automatic pagination" you set it up for fade. I needed it slide. Can you log in again and change it so it slides and when pressing the previous button it slides from right to left.

Hi James,

I see the issue now. We can only select one slide direction and not based on the previous or next button.

So we can only set the transition for one direction only.

I suspected that is because the transitions are meant to be automatic rather than pagination.

The default pagination ajax pagination doesn't have the wrap around feature that you would like.

The best thing to actually do is to select a slide transition that would best fit.

In this case I would leave it at the fade transition.
