[Gelöst] Redirect when there is no read permission

Dieser Thread wurde gelöst. Hier ist eine Beschreibung des Problems und der Lösung.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user want to do a redirect to another page if there is no access to that page.

Solution:
Unfortunately there is no redirect option if you have no access, however what you can do is to create a page template in Layouts with the login form.

Then whenever you don't have read access you set it to that page template and the users will get directed there.

Hello,
in post group's access, i can see that i have 3 option to display when someone access without read permission. I have several question in mind:

1. is it possible to do redirect instead to login page, instead of Show Content Template ?
2. What "Show Page Template" do ?
3. is it possible to apply restriction to child page automatically ? or i need to select all manually one by one ?

Thanks

Hi Viktor,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Unfortunately there is no redirect option if you have no access, however what you can do is to create a page template in Layouts with the login form.

Then whenever you don't have read access you set it to that page template and the users will get directed there.

For the restrictions on child posts you will need to apply them manually.

Thanks,
Shane
