Hi trying to set up a parametric search view and Im using the GeoPlaces WordPress theme. By default the theme allows for me to add custom fields to it. When I install views and types I have access to these custom fields. My issue Is when I try to do a parametric filter with check boxes, the labels for the check boxes look like this.
a:3:{i:0;s:6:"Casual";i:1;s:11:" Hidden Gem";i:2;s:11:" Has a view";}
a:3:{i:0;s:6:"Casual";i:1;s:15:" Small & Quaint";i:2;s:6:" Quiet";}
a:3:{i:0;s:6:"Casual";i:1;s:15:" Small & Quaint";i:2;s:7:" Rustic";}

I have- Use existing custom field values when showing this control set for this. Is their a way to output correct value without manually entering each checkbox values?

Any Ideas on how to get around this issue?

Hi Brent,

It is not possble within Types & Views, Types checkboxes field stores value as a serialized array, like this:

a:2:{s:64:"wpcf-fields-checkboxes-option-cfa5e9cc2da5cfe755fe05b391e650eb-2";s:1:"1";s:64:"wpcf-fields-checkboxes-option-6b3cf5770b5dffb479068de182d4762a-1";s:1:"1";}

each option value of checkboxes is stored into encrypted unique value.

So it is not possible to turn it into a checkboxes in Views filter form until your theme same exactly same format.
