I have a view on a user table which is performing very slowly

I am trying to: create a view of a users table with pagination. It has about 150 user but is taking up to 10 seconds to load.
post views with 4000 records are taking a second or less.
The query is very simple

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

What you could try is to use some form of caching to load the information faster.

Could you try using the WP Super Cache plugin and let me know if the issue still remains.
