I am trying to: Create field groups

I expected to see: Clean interface
Instead, I got: Wacked out field selection iframe in fields admin. Have the latest version of Types, Views, CRED..., but have to interact with field selection iframe that is squeezed over to the right at about 20% width where 80% of left is all white. Must scroll iframe left/right up/down to see and select a field to add. After selecting a field everything goes back to normal interface, but continues to revert and repeats wacked out window when attempting to add another field.
What could cause this? Thanks.
