Export Types and Views not working

I have a local version of my site I'm trying to set up on my live server.
I need to export my local custom types and views. When I go to types -> export and click export I can save the the zip file. When I try to open it I get a message saying Central directory not found.
The file size is only 2.9kb which seems to small to me?
I am using wamp as my local dev server.
Any Ideas why it won't export a usable zip file?

Anyone having this trouble when exporting your views and types from a local server. I have disabled all other plugins to see if that has any effect and it didn't. Don't want to have to rebuild all of them manually if possible.

Dear Brent,

You probably need to enable the ZIP extension in your PHP.

If I remember correctly, you should have a tray icon where you can enable/disable PHP extensions. You might need to restart Apache after enabling the extension.
