I made small changes to 3 post form email notifications a few weeks ago. When I came back, all the email notifications on those post forms had disappeared, not just the ones I'd changed. I have since updated all the plugins and the theme, but they haven't come back.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

1)
Could you please describe what exactly steps/actions you performed?

Also - in order to minimize the cause of the issue:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?

2)
If #1 does not help:
- Please share problem URL with all required details.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

What happened was that I opened three different post forms, edited one email notification in each, saved, and when I went back a few weeks later, all notifications were gone on the ones I'd edited (other post forms that I hadn't edited still had their email notifications). I had run updates recently, but looking back, the email notifications had stopped coming in when I made the change.

I ended up just manually recreating the email notifications from what was on our development site, so I don't want to spend too much effort figuring out what went wrong at this point. For that reason, I'm not going to disable other plugins on this site, which is live and active, or give you permission to do so. If you can't figure it out without that, I'll just call this resolved, and hope it doesn't happen again.
