[Gelöst] Dynamic data in GenerateBlocks/toolset content templates

Dieser Thread wurde gelöst. Hier ist eine Beschreibung des Problems und der Lösung.

Problem:

I would like to be able to use the Dynamic field elements to show the various data fields from the custom post types within the GenerateBlocks element, however, they are not working and pulling data.

Solution:

According to our document, the "Dynamic Sources" feature isn't available in in "generateblocks" plugin, Currently, in your case, you can try the built-in WordPress heading block or Toolset heading block:

https://toolset.com/block-item/heading/

Ive not seen a support post regarding this topic, so thought I would highlight it.

Since there has been a workaround for GenerateBlocks styling in Toolset content template (see: https://toolset.com/errata/generateblocks-styles-lost-on-front-end-when-using-content-templates/)

I would like to be able to use the Dynamic field elements to show the various data fields from the custom post types within the GenerateBlocks element, however, they are not working and pulling data.

See image - example.

I can however put in Toolset shortcodes, however, this is a little cumbersome and I cant see the layout easily.

There is a ticket logged on the Generatepress website for this here and am unsure if a ticket was logged here.

And there is this one stating the is a request for documentation or a call?

Hello,

How do you setup the custom fields?
If they are created with Toolset Types plugin, you can use Toolset Single Field block to display them in Blocks editor, see our document:
https://toolset.com/block-item/single-field/

It should be able to work in content template without any problem.

Hi there Luo,

This is with the plugin GenertePress (by the same guys as GeneratePress).

the dynamic field elements here are not pulling from the Toolset custom fields - the standard fields work (Title, URL etc etc)

I have created a little video to show what I mean...

Thanks for the details, I have tried the "generateblocks" plugin(hidden link) in my localhost, and I can see the problem in my localhost.

But according to our document:
https://toolset.com/documentation/dynamic-sources-in-popular-blocks/
The "Dynamic Sources" feature isn't available in in "generateblocks" plugin, you can add a feature request for it:
https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/
Our developers will evaluate it.

Currently, in your case, you can try the built-in WordPress heading block or Toolset heading block:
