Hi,

I'm trying to create a widget with a drop down list of custom posts with Views. The idea is put this widget in any page and that when I select one of them it goes to the post selected.

This is the code in HTML/CSS/JS de filtro:

[wpv-control field="lugar" url_param="lugar-sala" type="select" auto_fill="wpcf-lugar" auto_fill_sort="asc"]

[wpv-filter-submit name="Buscar"]

But it don't works.

I'm looking for make something similar to the drop down list than appears in the sidebar (Salas de cine) here: hidden link

Is it possible make this with Views?

Thanks in advance!

Hi francoiseR,

Are you going to create a jump menu with Views?
See below test site:
hidden link
user/pass: xgren/111111

Views using:
hidden link
the java-script code:

jQuery(document).ready(function($){
  $('select[name="to_post"]').on('change', function(event){
    $(window.location).attr('href', $(this).val());
  });
});

Iuoy, I've detected that in the drop down list the first link doesn't work. It is possible to put a generic text ("All post", for example) in the first possition to avoid this problem? I have tried with default_label but it doesn't work

Thanks in advance!

I've resolved it adding <option value=" ">All posts... </option> behind <select name="to_post">

Thanks!
