Hallo,
(Bild: Tollset_05)
Vielen Dank im Voraus.
Grüße Daniel
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
At the moment, we do not have anyone available to communicate in German.
I can help you if you can share your requirement in English. Would you mind sharing your requirement in English and I would be happy to help you.
Hello,
I have created a field group for a post type in which an image gallery should be displayed. (Image: Toolset_01)
If I now create a post and want to select several images (image: Toolset_02 and image: Tollset_03), only ONE image is taken over after saving / updating (image: Tollset_04).
Did I set something wrong?
Here is the contribution to this: hidden link
The same happens if I want to create several individual lines. Only one line of text is saved at a time and all others disappear. (Picture: Tollset_05)
Many thanks in advance.
Greetings Daniel
I just checked with my local test install with repeating image custom field and tried to upload multiple images and saved the post and I can see it works as expected.
Can you please confirm that you are using the latest Toolset plugins + WordPress version.
As said this is strange.
In order to minimize the cause of the issue:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
- Do you see any difference? If no:
I would like to have access details and problem URL where I can see the issue.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
When I upload the multiple image from your edit page and update the post, I can see the following JS error on the browser's console:
post.php?post=13459&action=edit:1557 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'split' of undefined at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (post.php?post=13459&action=edit:1557) at HTMLDocument.dispatch (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,jquery-ui-core,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,jquery-ui-draggable,jquery-u&load[chunk_1]=i-tabs&ver=5.4.1:3) at HTMLDocument.r.handle (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,jquery-ui-core,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,jquery-ui-draggable,jquery-u&load[chunk_1]=i-tabs&ver=5.4.1:3) at Object.trigger (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,jquery-ui-core,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,jquery-ui-draggable,jquery-u&load[chunk_1]=i-tabs&ver=5.4.1:3) at Object.a.event.trigger (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,jquery-ui-core,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,jquery-ui-draggable,jquery-u&load[chunk_1]=i-tabs&ver=5.4.1:8) at x (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,jquery-ui-core,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,jquery-ui-draggable,jquery-u&load[chunk_1]=i-tabs&ver=5.4.1:4) at XMLHttpRequest.c (load-scripts.php?c=0&load[chunk_0]=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,jquery-ui-core,jquery-ui-widget,jquery-ui-mouse,jquery-ui-sortable,jquery-ui-draggable,jquery-u&load[chunk_1]=i-tabs&ver=5.4.1:4)
And the above JS error is coming from the following code:
jQuery(document).ready( function($) { function ct_media_upload(button_class) { var _custom_media = true, _orig_send_attachment = wp.media.editor.send.attachment; $('body').on('click', button_class, function(e) { var button_id = '#'+$(this).attr('id'); var send_attachment_bkp = wp.media.editor.send.attachment; var button = $(button_id); _custom_media = true; wp.media.editor.send.attachment = function(props, attachment){ if ( _custom_media ) { $('#category-image-id').val(attachment.id); $('#category-image-wrapper').html('<img class="custom_media_image" src="" style="margin:0;padding:0;max-height:100px;float:none;" />'); $('#category-image-wrapper .custom_media_image').attr('src',attachment.sizes.thumbnail.url).css('display','block'); } else { return _orig_send_attachment.apply( button_id, [props, attachment] ); } } wp.media.editor.open(button); return false; }); } ct_media_upload('.ct_tax_media_button.button'); $('body').on('click','.ct_tax_media_remove',function(){ $('#category-image-id').val(''); $('#category-image-wrapper').html('<img class="custom_media_image" src="" style="margin:0;padding:0;max-height:100px;float:none;" />'); }); // Thanks: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15281995/wordpress-create-category-ajax-response $(document).ajaxComplete(function(event, xhr, settings) { var queryStringArr = settings.data.split('&'); if( $.inArray('action=add-tag', queryStringArr) !== -1 ){ var xml = xhr.responseXML; $response = $(xml).find('term_id').text(); if($response!=""){ // Clear the thumb image $('#category-image-wrapper').html(''); } } }); });
I am not sure where you added the above code, can you please disable that code and check if that help you to resolve your issue.
Hello, Minesh.
I don't know. I'm not an expert and don't know the source code. I would have thought it would work easier 🙁
Do you have a hint for me what I can do without knowledge of programming?
I can show you from where the error comes and that might help you to resolve your issue or we can move to next step, step by step.
If you do not know where the code is added, how can we know as we can not dive to your site and search for the custom code you added.
I already gave you the hint and pinpoint the issue (that could be the reason) so you need to find who/where that code added and try to disable that and you need to test.
We do not debug on the production site. If you want us to debug this issue further I will require a duplicator copy of your site.
Please send me a duplicator copy of your install. Follow the following Doc:
=> https://toolset.com/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
The duplicator file you shared is too big. 2GB, so I've removed that duplicator package and I have created another smaller one which I can download. I will download it and get in touch with you on Monday as soon as I have any news to share.
Thank you very much and have a nice weekend.
It seems there is multiple plugin conflicts.
I've deactivated the plugins - As soon as I deactivate the following plugins, I can see multiple image upload works.
- Advanced Post Manager
- Barrel Theme Addons
- DSGVO Pixelmate
- Duplicate Post
- Enable Media Replace
- Events Manager
- Events Manager Pro
You need to identify by deactivating one by one on your install to find which plugin cause the issue.
